Our experienced and professional team ensure the smooth delivery of every aspect of your building project; from our management team who coordinate the ‘behind the scenes’ delivery of complex building projects, to our skilled site workforce who take responsibility for the timely delivery and quality of the finished project. What’s more, every worksite has a designated site manager – your first point of contact regarding your project and the person who will oversee all aspects of on-site activity.

Andrew Phillips

Managing Director MCIOB, B.Sc (Hons), Chartered Construction Manager

Before creating Carreg Construction in 2003, Andrew gained an honours degree in building and has held managerial positions with established building firms including Mowlem Construction, WB Griffiths and Cotton.
Andrew heads Carreg’s management team and staff with his wealth of experience gained from over 30 years in the construction industry.

Mike Raymond

Contracts Manager

Mike joined Carreg Construction in June 2014 having previously being director of West Coast Carpentry Services and a site supervisor for Carillion plc. Mike has taken on an ever increasing role in the company working closely with Andrew; he assists in the smooth running of projects and co-ordination of staff and liasing with clients.

In 2016/17 Mike completed an advanced leadership programme through Swansea University. He now goes on to begin a Level 7 diploma in Senior Construction Management.

Amy Morgan

Accounts & Administration Manager

Daughter of Andrew and Sue, Amy joined Carreg Construction in December 2013 having previously worked for a high street bank. Amy is responsible for all aspects of the accounts and administaration along with many other duties.

In 2014 Amy gained a Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management from Swansea University.

Sue Phillips B.Ed (Hons)

General Administrator & Bathroom Interior Design Specialist

Having been involved from the start, Sue has taken on an increasingly larger role at Carreg since 2007. Sue’s involvement includes aspects of office administration, on site duties, management supervision and interior design.

In 2013 Sue was awarded a diploma in Interior Design.

We have a young but highly experienced team consisting of joiners, carpenters, stone masons, bricklayers, machine drivers and skilled labourers.
