Quality Joinery for Doors, Windows and Staircases

We’re delighted to announce that a sister enterprise - Pren Joinery, will commence trading later this month. Pren Joinery will be manufacturing high quality, hardwood and softwood doors, window frames and staircases from its spacious, well equipped workshop in the St David’s Assemblies building. There has been a significant investment in plant & machinery and skilled & qualified staff taken on. Much of the manufacturing will be to meet Carreg Construction’s needs for quality joinery in its building projects. But Pren Joinery has more than enough capacity to meet demands from other building firms and private customers.

If you have a requirement for locally manufactured, high quality joinery products, please give us a call on 01348 831711 and speak to Andrew Phillips.

Environmental Issues

Carreg Construction takes its responsibility for environmental issues very seriously and is committed to finding ways to reduce the environmental impact of its business operations. Here are just a few practical examples of what we do:

We strive to minimise waste on site and in our office. We crush and grade rubble stone to be re-used in future projects. Waste timber is re-used in wood burning stoves and wood boilers. The company directors, Andrew & Sue Phillips, founded Croesgoch Community Plastics Collection in 2005. This is now part of St Davids Peninsula Plastics Group for waste plastic, with hundreds of members. Waste paper from our office is shredded and re-used as horse bedding and all waste cardboard is recycled.
