Taking Environmental Responsibility Seriously

As a Pembrokeshire-based business, Carreg Construction is a company that cares passionately about the environment.

Many of the materials we use, such as stone, slate and wood, are by nature, eco friendly. We are able to further reduce our carbon footprint by using local raw materials when ever we can.

Carreg Construction's Environmental Policy is:

To deploy environmentally responsible policies and practices throughout all our business operations.

To adopt safe building, operating and storage practices - and have procedures in place to deal with emergencies which safeguard the health of our staff, the general public and the environment.

To carefully monitor all statutory legislation and guidelines within our industry and always meet or exceed all relevant requirements.

To continuously improve upon the efficient use of resources and energy and the minimisation of waste, in all aspects of our business operations.

To ensure that all possible waste is recycled and what remains is disposed of in the most environmentally responsible way available. Furthermore, to ensure that only fully licensed waste disposal contractors are used.

To routinely review our environmental performance and aim to broaden the range of environmental issues upon which we can take positive action.
