Carreg Construction Ltd is a specialist construction company based in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. The Company was founded by Des Harries and Andrew Phillips in April 2003 with the objective of offering specialist project management services as well as specialist stone masonry services (specializing in historic buildings) to clients in both private and public sector, therefore carrying out both domestic and commercial projects.
Since its inception the Company has grown in both capacity and capability. The Company has to date carried out contracts which include the construction of the Whitesands Café & Shop, the construction of large portal frame buildings, the total demolition and refurbishment of 8 Chemistry Laboratories at Greenhill School, structural strengthening and re-cladding industrial units at Honeyborough Industrial Estate, Neyland, as well as the creation of new offices and classrooms within the Old College, Neyland.
Project Management has a key role to play in making companies more competitive, and Carreg Construction Ltd have applied knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to a broad range of activities in order to meet project requirements. Carreg Construction Ltd have invested heavily in procuring a high platform with regards to Information Technology in both hardware and software, and it’s through the best use of these tools that enable the Carreg team to be a pro-active, cost effective, efficient contractor.
